Blue and White Awareness

Now Everyone is gearing up for Movember for Prostate Cancer awareness, my hubby will not be participating  (I hate Facial hair!!!)  But I Love the awareness. November is also Lung Cancer Awareness Month, 6 years ago I lost one of the most important people in my life to this awful disease, My Mom.  So for the Month of November I am going to be randomly posting facts about Lung Cancer and Prostate Cancer. Both here on my blog and on my facebook page. If you see one of these posting, comment and tell me how Cancer has affected your life, or any questions you have about cancer, or a picture of your awareness inspired mani (Ribbon colors are Lung - White, Prostate - Sky Blue).  I am gonna keep track of all the comments and pictures and at the end of the month I and gonna randomly pick a comment and that person will get a special little something (if you leave it on my blog make sure you include your e-mail address). On to the Nails, I really haven't painted my nails this week so I wanna show you a mani that I wore to a wedding a couple of weeks ago.
Now no Judgy Judgy, I am really not skilled at free hand nail art but I was really happy that this came out so well:)  I used 3 coats of Sinful Colors Snow Me White as my base (I really need a better White) and for the art I used my favorite bright blue China Glaze Frostbite.
I saw a much better version on Pinterest a couple of months ago.  I love the simplicity of this mani but it stands out too:) Sorry I have been so scarce this past week:) I have been super sick and had a ton of Homework (financial accounting is my worst nightmare)

in women.

  1. I need a better white as well! I love sinful colors but their white is awful.

  5. Love this mani, Simple and yet looks pretty. My FIL passed away due to lung cancer too and it was really soon after he discovered it. Sad but at least he isn't suffering anymore :)
