Metallic Double Stamp

Happy Monday Loves!!! I always love the time change that come with Daylight savings, I don't however love getting my kiddos to adjust to the new bed time schedule... Just imagine trying to explain to a 2 year old why they have to go to sleep while it is still light out!!! For my Monday Mani I did a little double stamping! Thankfully this mani turned out perfect, considering I usually mess up stamping and this mani gave me double the chance:)

For my base I used a classic white creme. I love a simple white mani, it is cleansing like fresh falling snow! I stamped on Essie Nothing Else Metals and Penny Talk, gorgeous Lavender and Copper metallic foils. I used plate BM-319 from Bundle Monster:) I just love how shiny this mani came out! It is shiny but not blingy, and while all girls love some bling, sometimes it is nice to just have shiny:)

Stamping Penny Talks

Happy Friday Eve Dolls!!!! I have been trying to paint my nails for DAYS!!!! But I have a very cranky 1yr old who is cutting teeth like crazy!!! Last night my Hubby gave me a couple of hours to myself (THANK YOU HUBBY) to paint my nails and decompress!!! I went with a basic black and then stamped on some Essie Penny Talks using Born Pretty Plate W-10. Simple Elegant and perfect!!!!

I feel like I am getting a renewed desire for nail art!!! And I have so many ideas floating around in my head, I can't wait to show you:)

Unconventional Color Combo:)

TGIF!!! Who is ready for the Weekend:) ME!!!! It has been crazy busy this week, with the kiddo out of school Mon, Tues, and Wed. having a seven yr old and 5mth old in the house is exhausting, add in 3 dogs and a cat = one tired momma!!!  I saw a mani on pinterest the other day with a super pastel purple with and accent of penny talk by Essie and got inspired:) I haven't used penny talk in such a long time I figured I would break it out!!! I didn't wanna go with a pale purple, I wanted something unusual:) I grabbed Zoya Blu, one of my favorite pale blues even if it does take 3 coats to not be streaky... and then added some pointy accents with Penny Talk and tape!!!!

I really do love this unconventional color combo!!! It is different, edgy, but delicate all the same!!! and did I mention easy:) What are your favorite unusual color combos???? Hope you Dolls have a fabulous and relaxing weekend!!!!

It's Hologeddon!!!

Happy Monday Loves!!! Now where is Friday??? JK... no seriously I feel like I need another weekend after today:) But on a happier note I have a lovely 4 piece collection to review for you today:)  Chirality has done it again with a beautiful collection of holo's, Welcome to Hologeddon!!!

Some of the products in this post were sent to me for review. I was not paid for my review of this product and all opinions are my own

First up is Dystopia, this is a super light purple tinted grey holo. This polish is absolutely gorgeous,  and the formula was great:) 2 coats to get complete opacity followed up with a coat of SV.

Next up is ED-209, this polish is a straight silver holo. Super gorgeous and a super formula, it reminds me of diamond plate metal, it has a very mechanical feel to it:) 2 coats and a coat of SV and ta-da!!!

Now to go ahead and get it out of the way Dystopia and ED-209 are very similar, but each have magnetism that is all their own.  I decided to do a comparison shot (mostly to prove to my husband that they are not the same):) Dystopia is on my pointer and half of my middle finger, ED-209 is on the other half of my middle finger and ring finger. One is shiny, one matte:)

Next we have Marauders, this greyed out copper holo is just polish perfection!!! It's not nude, not pink, not silver, not copper but a perfect blend of them all.  And again the formula was great, 2 coats and a coat of SV, DONE!!!

Finally we have Echelon, a gorgeous teal holo . This is probably my favorite of the collection, but I am a sucker for blues and greens.  This polish practically glows when on the hand and just prepare yourself for when the sun hits it!! Great formula as always, and 2 coats with a coat of SV are all that is needed.

So what do you think of Hologeddon???? I think it's perfect!!! I cannot say enough great stuff about the polish, colors and formula for every polish I have by Chirality!!! and just a quick FYI the makers Amanda and Jason are pretty awesome too!!!!  So now for the real info You can get the WHOLE collection for $28 (full size) $15 (mini size) AWESOME DEAL!!!! or Each polish is $8 for Full Size and $4.25 for Mini size:)

But for today's mani I used Essie Penny Talks with a gradient tip of Too Cute-icle's Frosty the Penguin:) The formula for both polishes is fantastic:) The Essie is a one coater and Too Cute-icle is jam packed with glitter (no digging out glitter here)!!!!

You can get Too Cute-icle polishes for $3 for a mini polish and $7 for a full size at http://www.etsy.com/shop/toocuteicle and you can show her some love on Facebook here http://www.facebook.com/toocuteicle :) Happy Monday Loves!!!

It Girl:)

Holy Moly, can you believe Thanksgiving is OVER already... Sorry about being MIA for the past couple of days, I have been nursing a nasty Respiratory Infection, that is slowly migrating north and  turning into a sinus infection:(   But I was able to get a couple of Swatches done yesterday, and I couldn't wait to show you:)
First up is Julep Diane, this polish is described as a Dark forest green crème by Julep and that is a spot on summation.  But I think Diane is sooo much more!!!  This polish in indirect light looks black but warmer. It is not as harsh as classic black do does have that same wow look, without coming off as emo.  I have on 2 coats of Diane and how beautiful is she!!!!
Next up is Leslie, a dark charcoal grey with silver micro flakes.  This polish is beautiful and has a perfect formula:) As beautiful as this polish is it just really isn't my style, I wish this polish was like a super light gray with the same shimmer and I would be all over it!!!
I think it is because I have seen so many versions of this color lately.  I am wearing 2 coats of Leslie followed by a coat of SV.  I do think this polish would look awesome with some silver stamping overtop of it (I'll see if I can get that done this week) :) Maybe I just need to lighten it up a tad:)
Last but not least, is my favorite Rachel. This beauty is a rich copper shimmer, with just a hint of micro holo glitters in the sun:) I ♥♥♥ this color, a perfect fall shade.  This polish is very easy to wear, even if you aren't ready to step out and wear wild colors.  It has just enough Red in it to make it a traditional color.
I Love to wear bright, rock your socks off color, but this is a great relaxing color that will still demand your attention:) I am wearing 2 coats of Rachel with a coat of SV and I and in ♥:)
Okay so now you wanna know how you get your hands on these great polishes:) Well you have options:) 1. You can sign you to become a Maven, for $20 a month you have access to the newest polish colors by Julep, you also can skip a month without explanation, and you can send to a friend, you are always guaranteed $40 worth of products each month.  You also get special pricing on merchandise and first access to sales and new products:)   or  2.  You can go to Julep.com and order the polishes:) but don't forget to put in the coupon code VIP20 to recieve 20% off you purchase of $20 or more:)
