Christmas Nails!!!

Hey Dolls!!!! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, and that Santa was really good to you!!! For Christmas I wore classic Red and Green nail with a little bit of nail art thrown in:) I used Zoya Purity, Hannah, and Honor for this mani:) ALL FREE HAND TOO!!!!
I really liked my pinky, thumb and middle finger!!! My pointer and ring finger just didn't do it for me:( but over all I think it turned out ok!:)

On the 11th and 12th days of Christmas...

I did a simple taped Christmas Tree for my last Christmas Mani:) I am soo excited for Christmas this year, my little boy is almost 5 and his excitement is contagious!!!!
For this simple mani I used Zoya Elisa as my base, and Zoya Logan for my tree, I then dusted on some loose glitter from the Born Pretty Store and top my tree with 1 gold glequin.
Christmas to me is first and foremost the Birthday celebration of a little baby boy that would grow into my Savior.  I know not everyone believes the same way I do, but this is the reason I celebrate:) Why do you?
Merry Christmas!!!!

On the 7th and 8th days of Christmas...

I was tired and wore the same mani 2 days in a row:) OMG... I know:) Well at least it was a super cute mani:) I free handed some holly leaves and had some simple white tips and BLAM!!!
Nothing too fancy I used China Glaze Red Satin for the berries, Zoya Logan for the leaves, and Sinful Colors Snow Me White for the tips.
Sorry this is super short, but I have hurt my back in a bad way and sitting too long aggravates it:( Christmas is a short 4 days away)

On the Sixth Day of Christmas...

I was sporting a green and gold gradient:)  This was such a quick easy mani, my first inclination was to do a red/silver gradient but then I went looking in my stash and Zoya Logan kinda jumped out at me (like literally fell of the shelf) and I thought ohhh a green gold gradient because of the pretty gold flecks in Logan:) and Bam just like that inspiration:)
This Fabulous green is Zoya Logan from the Ornate Collection and the Gold is China Glaze Angel Wings from the Holiday Joy Collection. These polishes look soo great together:) and it is a great variation but still keeping in the traditional holiday colors:)
So are you guys already for Christmas??? I am NOT even close:( I have a few more things to pick up and then the wrapping begins...  But just remember Jesus is the reason for this very special season not the presents or food or parties.

On the Fifth day of Christmas

I wore dotted Christmas trees on my hands!!!  I have see a couple of variations of this mani over the past couple of days, this is probably the mani I ♥ the most:)  It is a simple but cute design and eye catching:)
For this mani I used China Glaze Red Satin, this is the perfect Red and complete coverage in 2 coats. For my accent nail I used 2 coats of  Sinful Color Snow me White, the light green is China Glaze Def Defying and the dark green is Sinful Color Exotic Green.

Now for a Christmas Memory...  Every year we would all pile in the car and drive around town and look for the best, brightest and tackiest!!!!   and you know what I mean by tackiest (Griswalds kind of tacky).  I still Love to do this!!!! listen to Christmas songs and see the amazement on my little boy's face looking at the lights:) and if you needed a reminder
7 days till Christmas....

On the Fourth day of Christmas...

I'm just elfing around... actually I am wearing Just elfing around by the fabulous Jindie Nails (you can see my review here). This is my favorite polish out of the Jindie Nail Santa Claws Collection and you can see why:)
I think what make this sooo different is the light green glitters in it and it just sparkles in the sunlight:)  I put Just elfing around over Zoya Rehka and just gorgeous!!!! I do like my original combo over gray better but I thought over red was way more festive:)
Stay tuned tomorrow for dotted Christmas trees and some of my favorite Christmas Traditions and memories!!!!

On the Third Day of Christmas...

We have Christmas Lights:) Oh how I ♥ Christmas Lights, all bright and shiny in the night sky.   Driving around looking at Christmas lights is part of some of my favorite childhood memories.  But as it is Saturday and I have been out shopping all day this post will be super quick:)

I taped some white tips using Sinful Colors Snow Me White, and painted the wire with Sinful colors Black on Black.  For the Lights I used Zoya Song, Zoya Rehka, Julep Daisy, and Klean Colors Green Grass:) What are some of your favorite childhood Christmas memories????

On the Second day of Christmas...

I wore a Fabulous Mani featuring the New Color Club Halo Hues Blue Heaven:) I am the Lucky duck that won this whole Collection from Kaki @ Glitter Obsession!!!! and I couldn't be more blown away!!!!  I have been wanting these beauties since they came out, but I couldn't find them anywhere :(.  They were even sold out online when ever I went to buy them...  It's plain to see why!!!
I did a simple Snowflake design using Sinful Colors Snow me white as my base.  I must say free hand art is sooo not my forte`.... But I think I did a pretty good job on this one:)  I Just Love the way the snow flakes sparkle in the sunlight, It makes my heart smile:)
If you don't have this collection, you need it!!!! Every single polish is absolutely gorgeous!!!  Tomorrow I have a Christmas Lights Mani so stay tuned:)

Santa Claws GRRRRRR

Happy Monday Everyone!!!! Mine has been a big pain in the you know what!!!! I just hope today is not an indication of what this week will be like...  But anyway on to something fun and positive:) Part 2 of Jindie Nails Santa Claws Collection:)
Starting off is my favorite polish from the Entire collection Just Elfing Around.. This polish has all sizes of glitters in matte pastel green, red and white along with silver holographic glitters as well.  I think what makes this particular polish so different is the use of pastel green, it is just gorgeous!!!  I layered 1 coat over Sinful Colors Jungle Trail followed with a coat of Gelous and SV.  STUNNING!!!
Next is Silent Night, this is a  deep royal blue jelly with a purple shimmer, holographic stars and moons and other various shapes of holo and iridescent glitters inter-mingle in this polish.  Now the consistency of this polish is a little thick, and the larger Glitters don't really like to come out of the bottle.
This just proves one thing, Jen @Jindie Nails is upfront about everything!!! Reading the description of Silent Night, She is accurate in her description so I was not surprised or disappointed, but I knew exactly what to expect.  That is True Customer Service and Kudos to you Jen!!!!   Now how beautiful is this polish, I am wearing 2 coats here with a coat of Gelous and SV (fair warning because this polish is on the thicker side allow extra drying time).
Next is Santa Claws. This is such a different polish I haven't decided if I like it or not. But I do think I need a different pairing.
I have it here over Essie Marshmellow. This is a matte white, black, red and green square glitters in clear base. This polish is a great layering I really wanna try it in a jelly sandwich:)
So what do you think of the Santa Claws Collection???  I ♥ it.  I know you want the collection now so here are all of your links to get it:) And Don't forget to show some LOVE!!!!

Santa Claws RAWR!!!!

Oooh what a past couple of day's it has been. I am in the final weeks of school (thank goodness) and I am gearing up to cook my first Thanksgiving meal:) Wish me luck!!!! But for now I get to show you guys 4 polishes from a polish collection I have been anticipating for what seems like forever:)  Welcome to the Santa Claws Collection by Jindie Nails.
First up is Holly, as in a Holly Bush:) She has matte white, matte green and scattered matte red berries in a clear base with green sparkle added to it. This polish is Gorgeous!!!!  I layered one coat of Holly over China Glaze Red Satin, just look at that beautiful combo:)
Next up is Noel, To me this polish is like christmas floam:) It is jam packed with neon green, white and red matte glitters and green sparkles in clear base. I am wearing two coats of Noel followed by a coat of gelous and SV.  How sweet is this polish!!!
Now if you didn't know, Noel is just another word for Christmas, it is a french word that is derived from the Latin translation meaning "day of birth".  Now how is that for your daily history lesson:)
Next we have one of my favs from the Collection:) Kiss me under the Mistletoe  this is a juicy true red jelly with dark emerald green holo, red holo, lime green holo plus silver & gold holo hex added to it. This polish is super easy to apply and just look at that finish!!!!
I ♥ Red Polishes, and this one just took my breath away!!!! This polish has a perfect glitter ratio's:) No worrying about picking up glitter or having to place glitter here:)
The last polish tonight is Candy Cane,   this polish has a white crelly (cream/jelly) base with matte large and medium hex, red metallic and green metallic hex, and it is completely gorgeous!!!!
I used two coats of Candy Cane, and I didn't have to place a single glitter:)  That is complete Awesome sauce right there!!!  This polish totally reminds me of a candy cane too:) It doesn't look all that fab with my skin tone (I think I am too pasty for it) but I ♥ it anyway!!!!
So what do you think of the Santa Claws Collection so far????  I have three more for you tomorrow!!!!  But I know it is sooo awesome you wanna go buy the collection right now soo here you go:) and Don't forget to show the LOVE!!!!

Holiday Joy 2:)

Happy Tuesday:) Is anybody as ready for Friday already as I am!!!! Between School, and Keeping up a house, laundry, work, and then add on being a Mommy and Wifey it can get super overwhelming!!!!  But I ♥ every minute of it and wouldn't trade it for anything!!!! Sooooo I have two more polishes from the China Glaze Holiday Joy Collection:) And these two polishes do not disappoint.
First is Red Satin, or it could be called Fire Engine Red because that is exactly how vivid this polish is!!!! This polish is a bright creme red, with a fabulous formula:) It has slight cuticle staining issues, but nothing to overwhelming.
I used two coats of Red Satin here followed with one coat of SV, and just look at how gorgeous this polish is!!!!  This polish has slight blue undertones vs orange or pink this prevents it from looking trampy, but this is not a color for the red shy.
Next up is Pure Joy.  This polish is the one that I was expecting to not really care for and surprise It's my favorite. The pictures don't even begin to to the justice this polish deserves. This polish is a mass of rich red glitter and a sprinkling of gold glitter.
I used 2 coats of Red satin followed by one coat of Pure Joy, a coat of Gelous, and a coat of SV.  This polish give the illusion of many layers of polish. This polish is eyecatching but not overpowering (pretty unique for a red) and has just the right amount of sass:)  So what do you think, and What is your favorite Christmas color combo???

Holiday Joy

I can't hardly believe it is almost Thanksgiving!!! Like next week almost here!!!! Where has the time gone????  Annnnywhooooo, with the Holidays swiftly approaching, it could only mean one thing. That's right Holiday collections:) This means a ton of red, green, blue, gold, and silver toned nails:) Which is just fine by me:) Now I wanna show you a couple of beauties from China Glaze Holiday Joy Collection.
To start take a look at Merry Berry.  This little gem is a deep berry red, with a rich creamy finish. This polish practically screams opulance!!!! It is a classic red without being a hooker red.  Not dark enough to be considered vampy, but even if you are red shy you could pull this color off!!!
I have on two coats of Merry Berry, followed with a coat of SV. It was slightly streaky on the first coat but self-leveled on coat 2 and just look at that finish!!!!  Regular drying time with no staining on the cuticles, a feature that I ♥ in this polish, and is super hard to find in rich reds like this.
Next up is Angel Wings, a gold scattered holographic glitter bomb:) This beauty is easy to work with and definitely eye catching.  The formula is slightly streaky on the first coat and it did require 3 thin coats for full coverage. It had a fine grit sandpaper type of finish without a topcoat, (I have a inkling that this is the type of finish OPI is going for with the liquid sand finish coming out the first of next year).
This polish is a great addition to any holiday outfit you have planned or would be FABULOUS as an accent nail:)  Polishes in this collection can be found at your nearest beauty supply store or ULTA and they retail for $5 - $8 per polish:)  I will have two more from this collection tomorrow so stay tuned!!!!

Santa Baby:)

Oh you guys are sooo lucky today:) I have swatches from Different Dimension Santa Baby Collection!!!!  Missi at Different Dimension has really out done herself this time, not only did she capture the fun essence of the song but she did it beautifully!!!!
First up is I've been and Angel all year:) This polish has a white crelly(creme/jelly) base with a combo of silver, light blue, and white glitters.  I used a coat of white for undies, and then 2 coats of  I've been and Angel all year, one coat of gelous and a coat of SV and TA-DA
I ♥ this color, I am a sucker for white polishes anyway, but the slight blue shimmer it has just sends me over the edge:) It has a super smooth formula and dries in normal time:)
Next we have Out of Space Convertible,  now I must confess if Missi hadn't sent the lyrics to the song in with the package (so cute)  I would have had no idea that the words were out of space convertible (I guess I need to pay more attention).
Out of Space Convertible is a black jelly polish with pink, purple and blue micro holographic glitters, I Love Jelly polishes and I Love Glitter so this polish is a match made in lacquer heaven to me:) I use 2 coats plus a coat of gelous and SV for this mani:)
Next up is I'll wait up for you dear, or aka Christmas in a bottle:) This polish is a bomb of green and red glitters in a clear base.  I put this little gem over Sinful Colors Exotic green (a medium green jelly).
This polish is a pleasure to work with, great distribution of glitter, almost complete coverage with 2 coats, and doesn't excessively eat topcoats:) what more can you ask from a glitter bomb!!!
Last but certainly not least is Hurry down the chimney tonight. This polish is like my nail polish Nemesis.  I Love it, but at the same time hate it.  I tried this polish over every green, gray, black, red, white polish I have, to figure out what polish I liked it over best.  Nothing seemed to satisfy me, or accentuate how pretty this glitter overcoat is. I have decided I need more green polish.
Hurry down the chimney tonight is a jumble of asymmetrical red and white glitters and shards. it really looks amazing over any color, but this being a christmas collection I really wanted it over green.  So finally I put on 2 coats of Zoya Ray and dabbed on a coat of Hurry down the chimney tonight, with a coat of gelous and SV and BAM!!!

So What do you think of this Santa Baby Collection???? I ♥ ♥ ♥ it!!! You can get these and more for $8.50 at Different Dimension Etsy store also you can see sneek peeks of upcoming collections on her Facebook page :) Now go get you some:)
