Aphrodite Mattified

So when Zoya's summer collections came out, Aphrodite part of the Paradise Sun Collection quickly became one of my favorites!!!  I love the color, a bright red with a slightly orange tone, but the finish is what really got me!!! A squishy almost metallic Jelly with micro flakies:)  And one of the best thing to do with flakies is to matte them!!! It changes the whole feel of the polish!!!! I knew when I swatched this polish I wanted to Matte it, so that is exactly what I did!!!! (I keep a little book full of mani ideas, so when inspiration is lacking I can grab a quick idea). Now those little white specks you see are from my matte top coat (I used Butter London Matte top coat) and as unfortunate as they are it seems that any matte topcoat, after a couple of months, will do this no matter which brand it is by:(

Even with the little white specks I Love this mani!!!!

First up is Channing, a deep burnt coppery orange that is just as yummy as Channing Tatum!!!! Here is 2 coats of this delicious color with a coat of SV:)

Next up is Claudine, this is a dark gray almost black dream polish with a slight silver metallic shimmer that is très chic:) Again 2 coats of perfect formula followed with a coat of SV!!!

The next beauty is Mason:) This is a fabulous pink/red/violet/purple metallic shimmer:) This color is one of my Favorites in this collection!!! It is one of those colors that every polish lover needs and is so super easy to wear:) 2 coats of this jewel with a coat of SV and done!!!

Neve, is the perfect metallic sapphire blue:) This polish is a trickster in the making, in the bottle it looks like a dark metallic purple/blue, but once you get in on the nail it turns into a breathtaking hue of blue:)  2 coats of the again perfect formula with a coat of SV and WOW:)

My Favorite of this Collection is Giovanna, this is the most perfect emerald green polish that I have ever seen. She is slightly sheer so I used 3 coats, so as not to have any visible nail line!!! And just look at how gorgeous this polish is!!!!

And finally is Maria-Luisa, this is polish is described as a gold cellophane accent topper, and this description is spot on!!! I decided to show this polish on it own to show off it's true beauty:) Here is 3 coats with a coat of SV and just Beautiful!!!

So what do you dolls think of this collection??? I think it is fabulous and just perfect for the upcoming fall weather:) This collection is available on www.zoya.com for $8 each or grab the whole collection for $48:) and Check out www.facebook.com/zoyanailpolish to get some pretty awesome flash deals and upcoming promotions.
