Bling it On

Bling it On is the newest collection by Barielle:) Some of the polishes in this collection are complete wins, others are just not for me:( Recently I have tendency to shy away from glitters, I'm not exactly sure why they just don't appeal to me like they used to, but a couple of these polishes will definitely get plenty of wear!!! All swatches are 2 coats with 1 coat of SV:)

First up is Sea Urchin, this is a teal shimmer with blue,green and gold glitters:) This color is beautiful, however I am not a fan of shimmers with glitter. I think it is because it looks bumpy, almost like it should be textured. However this is the perfect color for a mermaids tail, and who doesn't love mermaids!!!

 Golden Halo is next.  Now this beauty was my surprise LOVE of this collection. It is a heavy gold microshimmer with pink and gold glitter in a clear base. The micro shimmer in this polish shifts from gold to pink!!!!! And even with the visible nail line you can see how shiny this polish is!!! So freaking gorgeous, I'm wearing it on my toes right now!!!

 Shooting Star, was one of those polishes you just know you are gonna love!!!  This is a blue shifting to purple microshimmer with blue glitter:) The shift from blue to purple in this polish is sooo pretty and super visable!!!

 Angel Dust is a clear base with color shifting glitters:) This polish is super pretty and is perfect for spring! I think this would look even better over a dark color, but I do love it on its own!!!!

 Amethyst is last in this collection and my least favorite:( This is a clear based polish with large lavender glitters.  This polish took a lot of dabbing and placing, I think the main reason for this issue is curling glitters. I know larger glitters have this issue sometimes. This polish is just not for me!

 So some of this collection I Love and others are not for me! But I do like the direction Barielle is going in!!! All these polishes will be available on April 1st at www.barielle.com :)

Fierce Foils:)

Hey dolls!!! So today I have some eye "shadow" to share to that I'm super excited about!!! Milani Cosmetics Fierce Foil Eyeshine:)  I say "shadow" very loosely because these gems don't shadow, they shine!!!  The texture of these is a mix between cream and powder and is a little tricky to figure out.  I found the best way for me to use these is dabbing with my finger, or a stiff eyeliner brush. I like this product as a finishing effect for my eye shadow or eyeliner. I have 2 of the 4 color collections to show off:) 

 Here is the Milan:) Pink, Gold and Taupe tones!!!

Here is Florence:) Bronze, Copper, and Gold Tones!!!!

And here are two looks I created with Milani Fierce Foil, I also used Urban Decay Naked 2 for these looks:)

Now I wasn't able to find these locally I had to order them directly from Milani, and for some reason my Walgreens doesn't carry this brand anymore:( These Gems also come in purple and blue hues and for $10 it's a good deal:) Have you tried these eye shines??? What did you think?

Chirality Latex Tactical Shield

Happy Wednesday Dolls!!! I am sooo excited to share with you what I have today:) Chirality Latex Tactical Shield!!!! I had heard about this type of product a couple of months ago, taking liquid latex and surrounding the nail before painting to create easy clean up:) This is a completely brilliant idea, and would make water marbling and gradients so much easier!!!! Chirality thought so too, and Latex Tactical Shield was born!!!

Now as with any Latex product, if you are allergic DO NOT USE!!!! I can't say this enough, if you have LATEX ALLERGIES DO NOT USE!!!! This gem is teal in color and dries the same. It spreads easily and no horrible odor that you get with most liquid latex.  And SOOOO easy to use:) 

I used Zoya Lillian for my demo, and even though I am pretty skilled at painting my nails I still use a clean up brush for every mani, Tactical Shield took that need away:) AWESOME!!!!  And Speaking of Awesome this stuff is available now and is ONLY $5!!!! and why you are picking this up grab some of their polishes, their holos are my fave!!!! Zoya Delight

Hello Dolls:) Wow it has been a while... Life has been crazy and well I broke all of my nails:( At first it was just two on my right hand, then 3 on my left hand all with in 24hrs 0.o... and when I say broke I mean down to the quick (OUCH!!!!) So I cut them all down and have been giving them lots of TLC and here we are almost a month later...  just couldnt post my super nubbins:( not to mention that they hurt and the thought of putting acetone anywhere near them was a no go!!!

So today I have the Zoya Delight collection!!! I am super excited about sharing this collection mostly because I love every color!!! This collection has 3 creams and 3 iridescent shimmers that are perfect for spring:) All swatches are 2 coats with no top coat:)

First up is Tiana:) A gorgeous pistachio gelato cream!!! I can't help but think that the inspiration was from Disney's The Princess and the Frog:)

Lillian is next:) This gem is a light blue cream that is reminiscent of Zoya Blu, but has slightly more of aquamarine tone:) Perfection!!!

Eden is a perfect petal pink:) Flowers have nothing on this beauty, a perfect way to brighten up your tips!!!

Rayne is the most talked about color of this collection and it is easy to see why!!!! This beauty is a spring blue iridescent with a flash of turquoise that is just dreamy!!!  

Daisy is a bright lemon yellow shimmer that has a blue iridescent flash!!! Unique and oh so refreshing!!!  

Leslie is last in this collection:) A light purple shimmer with the same turquoise iridescent flash as Rayne and Daisy!!! So Beautiful!!!! 

Also I am testing out a new lighting method in these swatches:) I was lucky enough to grab an OttLite for super cheap and I Love it!!! Definitely gives true to life color:) This collection is available now on www.zoya.com for $9 per color or $54 for the collection!!!
