Awaken to Spring

Well it FINALLY feels like spring here!!!! Flowers are staring to bloom and the grass is starting to grow and the POLLEN is wreaking HAVOC on my allergies:( And I am Officially half way through my pregnancy:) So with all of this new life blooming why not add some fresh spring colors to your tips:) And the Perfect collection to start with is Zoya Awaken:)

First up is Cole, a gorgeous peach/orange cream:) This polish makes me daydream about Orange Dreamsicles (pregnancy talking). This polish is not a 1 coater, like most light colored creams it took 3 coats to get full coverage followed with a coat of SV:) 

 Dot is the most perfect Baby Pink ever Bottled!!!! This polish is a 3 coater as well, but really just look at this pink perfection!!! I know what color I will be wearing when the baby comes!!!!

Rebel is up next:) This is a sky blue metallic shimmer polish that makes me wish for summer blue skies by the pool!!!! I used 2 coats here and now looking at the pics I think I should have gone for 3:( as I can still see a little bit of nail line...

Hudson is my favorite of this whole collection!!!! This purple shimmer polish just POPS with my skin tone!!!! It is soft and feminine with just a little bit of Sass:) Only 2 coats were needed to get this look!!!!

Brooklyn is up next!!! This is the best muted gold polish I have seen!!! I say muted because it is not super yellow based, but it still has that Glam factor of a rich Gold:) Here is 2 coats!!!

 The last Gem of this collection is Dillion, a beautiful minty green shimmer.  As beautiful as this color is, it is my least fav of this collection.  I think the reason is because I am super partial to minty creme polishes and the shimmer just isn't doing it for me:( Only 2 coats were needed for this look!!!

So what do you think of this Spring perfect collection!!!! I think it is the perfect collection to add a little spring to my tips!!!  This Collection as a whole is available for $48 or for $9 per color:) My 2 must haves are Hudson and Dot:) What are yours??? and what do you think of my shorty nails??? Magical Textures

Hi Dolls:) Sorry I have been away for so long:( If you follow me in Instagram (@pinkedpolish) or Facebook you can probably guess why!!! If not you probably should:) Well the Big NEWS is I'm PREGNANT!!!!! and It's a GIRL!!!! That's right I see a lot of little pink toe nails in my future!!!! So as you can imagine with the fatigue and morning sickness (that lasted all day) and the fact that polish / acetone smell made me nauseated, I wasn't doing much painting at all and I broke all of my nails!!! But I am well into my 2nd trimester and feeling much better:)

Well today I have some pretty fabulous Texture Polishes for you!!! The Magical Pixies By Zoya!!! First up is Cosmo, this is a gorgeous silvery iridescent Bombshell!!!! Super Gorgeous and Super long lasting!!!!

 Next up is Lux, a soft baby pink with that out of this world sparkle!!!! 

 Vega is the last in this collection!!!! This is the perfect baby blue!!! It's sooooo Sparkly:)

But I will give you fair warning, if you are not a fan of texture polishes already, you probably won't like these:( The Pixies are different than the regular ones as the texture is much greater, these beauties have larger holographic glitters mixed in (which makes for some pretty awesome sparkle). All of the swatches are 2 coats, no base or top coat:)

Gradient with a little Glitter:)

Sorry I have been away for soooo long:(  I have missed you dolls!!!! I swear the "Virus Monster" has been stalking my house since before Christmas!!! If it's not me (going on 2 weeks here of coughing and congestion) it's my hubby or my son (both huge babies when sick)!!! Then you add on disinfecting my house over and over again and I have been a busy little bee:)  and with all that cleaning you can probably guess the damage it did to my nails, I'm down to nubbins:(  So I have a mani I did right before new years to show you!!!

I did a basic gradient with White faded into Pink (Zoya Yana, the perfect bright pink) and well it was New Years and I need a little glam/rebel so I added a coat of Trelly's MISC Polish in Never Growing Up.  It was the perfect addition to this mani!!!!

So how are you ladies fairing during Cold and Flu Season, all I can say is I am sooo ready for warmer weather!!! But alas it will be a while, as of right now I am listening to sleet and ice bounce off the windows and the Snow is moving in... 8-14 inches is what we are expected to get and for Eastern NC that is just CRAZY!!!!

Spirits, Ectoplasm & Phantom

The Final Post of my 3 part Chirality Ghost Extravaganza!!!! And I saved the best for last!!!! These 3  beauties were my favorite of the collection and you will see why!!!!

First up is Spirits, this is a deep olive green that is breathtaking!!!! I can't even say how gorgeous this polish is but look for yourself!!! 2 coats with no topcoat and done!!!!

Next up  is Ectoplasm, the most perfect Holo top coat EVER!!!! It doesn't grey out your base!!!! That right a holo topper that doesn't grey, take a look!!! Here is one coat over CG Flip Flop Fantasy (I was in the mood for some neon) and WOW!!!!

 And Finally we have Phantom:) It hard for me to say why this polish is one of my Favs, I just can't put my finger on it!!! This is a deep grey that is similar to Revenant but without the green undertone and it is just perfect!!! 2 coats and no topcoat!!!

Wraith, Revenant & Spectre

First up is Wraith, this medium dusty purple is perfect:) Not too dark and not to dusty, more like that comforting friend that always knows just what to say!!! 2 perfect coats with no topcoat:)

 

Revenant is up next!!!  This is a deep charcoal grey linear holo with a slight green undertone and it is glorious!!! Need the perfect color to wear,and looking for Dark and mysterious look no further!!! 2 coats with no top coat:) 

Finally I present Spectre. A vibrant Lavender linear holo This is the standout in this collection as it the only "spring like color". But who cares look at this spectacular color!!!  Really just looking at this polish make me think of warmer days and Flipflops!!!! 2 coats and no topcoat!!!
