Zoya Island Fun Swatches

Hi Dolls!!!! Today I have the Zoya Island Fun Collection to show you:) This is a collection of 6 richly pigmented bright creme beauties! One of the things I love most about this collection is the deepness of the tones, I can definitely see wearing this collection well into the Fall:)
*press sample*
First up is Demetria:) A bright poppy red that leans slightly orange! This color is so classic and beautiful it just begs to be put on your toes for a trip to the pool or beach!!! Here is 2 coats with a coat of SV!

Cecilia is a gorgeous traditional teal creme:) This polish makes me think of the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean!!! But be careful with this one as it is highly pigmented and can stain so make sure you wear a good base coat!!! Here is 2 coats with a coat of SV:)

Nana is a bright fuchsia that is perfect for your next Mani!!!! Love the wearability of this Color!!!! Here is 2 coats with a coat of SV:)

Serenity is a bright summery purple creme:) This gem has a great blue undertone and I love the way it looks with my skin tone!!!  Here is 2 coats with a coat of SV!

Jace is a great tropical green!!! Every time I look at this color I can't wait to do some nail art with it!!!! Here is 2 coats with a coat of SV:)

Lastly is Talia, a bright turquoise/blue creme that is incredible!!! I am such a sucker for blues too:) Like Cecilia this baby is highly pigmented and will stain, so make sure you use a good base!!! Here is 2 coats with a coat of SV!

I always look forward to Zoya's collections no matter the season and this is no different!!! I love how true to the tropics this collection is!!! It is available now on www.zoya.com for $9 each and $54 for the collection! Stay tuned because I have Paradise Sun Collection coming soon!!!

Ellagee Summer Fun

Hey Dolls:) I know I have been MIA for a little while:( right after my last post I pulled 2 muscles in my back:( and well because I'm still nursing my Baby girl I can't take muscle relaxers or any good pain meds!!! So it has been heat and ice 4 times a day and physical therapy twice a week (fun, fun!!!) I'm not at a 100% yet but it is getting better, it just has been taking me 3 times as long to do anything at all (including laundry and dishes).  But enough about me I have 4 awesome polishes to show you today from Ellagee!!! 2 from the Beach Bum collection of sun bleached neon cremes and 2 from the All Summer Long collection of neon glitters in a clear base:)  This is the first time I have ever used Ellagee and impressed is an understatement!!! I am always blown away when a maker takes the time to package their polish up nicely, it just shows that they are super proud of what they created:) And this polish is definitely something to be proud of!!!

First up is By the Sea, a bright bleached out blue that is awesome!!! I think this is my new favorite blue, it really is the perfect summer sky!!! Not to mention that it only took two thin coats for complete coverage, and anybody who loves light or pastel creme polish colors knows what a feat that is!!  Here is 2 coat with a coat of SV

Beach Bum is next!!! Oh what can I say about this peachy neon beauty... I LOVE IT!!!! I love peachy colors but they usually wash me out, NOT this one!!!! I am actually wearing it on my toes right now!!! 2 coat again for complete coverage with a coat of SV.

Butterfly Kisses is next:) This polish is packed with pink and green neon glitters, with flower and butterfly glitters of various neon colors in a clear base. Now I'm gonna be honest, I have not mastered the art of applying shaped glitter:( and try as I might I was never happy with the end result! I do love the whimsicalness of this polish and maybe with practice I'll get there!!! 1 dabbing coat over white followed with a coat of Gelous.

Gumballs is the last polish I have to show you:) And I think the best neon glitter topper ever is now in my possession!!!  Neon circle glitters of all colors and various sizes in a clear base is what awesomeness is made out of!!! 1 dabbing coat over white followed with a coat of gelous:)

The sun bleached neons were released on May 9th and the Neon glitters are releasing May 16th (this Saturday @ 3) I have a feeling that these beauties will go quick!!!! You can grab them at www.ellagee.com :) Have an awesome week!!!

Mood Boosting Mani:)

Happy Wednesday Dolls:) I have a random mani for you today!!! It is cold and rainy here today, so I needed something to brighten my mood!!! I used CG Shocking Pink as my base, added a scroll work stamp (BM -314) with Konad Black and then sponged a black gradient tip with Sinful Colors Black on Black!!! I really like the way this mani turned out!!!

What do you think of this mani??? and what is on your nails today????

Treble Maker

Who LOVES neon???? I DO:) A couple of weeks ago China Glaze released the much anticipated Electric Nights Collection! As soon as I saw the press releases I knew I was gonna have to grab quite a few of these (six to be specific). The first one I wanted to show off is Treble Maker! This baby is an electric neon green cream, and it is gorgeous!!! I did 2 coats over 1 coat of white to make the color pop, and followed it up with a coat of SV:)

Now as gorgeous as Treble Maker is, I just had to do one of my favorite things and add an additional topcoat.  The topcoat I decided on was Mentality Matte Holo topcoat!!! This gem is matte and holo all at the same time, it adds an additional dimension to the polish and tones it down just slightly:)

Don't you just love this color??? and with the top coat WOW!!!

Bling it On

Bling it On is the newest collection by Barielle:) Some of the polishes in this collection are complete wins, others are just not for me:( Recently I have tendency to shy away from glitters, I'm not exactly sure why they just don't appeal to me like they used to, but a couple of these polishes will definitely get plenty of wear!!! All swatches are 2 coats with 1 coat of SV:)
*press sample*
First up is Sea Urchin, this is a teal shimmer with blue, green and gold glitters:) This color is beautiful, however I am not a fan of shimmers with glitter. I think it is because it looks bumpy, almost like it should be textured. However this is the perfect color for a mermaids tail, and who doesn't love mermaids!!!

Golden Halo is next.  Now this beauty was my surprise LOVE of this collection. It is a heavy gold microshimmer with pink and gold glitter in a clear base. The micro shimmer in this polish shifts from gold to pink!!!!! And even with the visible nail line you can see how shiny this polish is!!! So freaking gorgeous, I'm wearing it on my toes right now!!!

Shooting Star, was one of those polishes you just know you are gonna love!!!  This is a blue shifting to purple microshimmer with blue glitter:) The shift from blue to purple in this polish is sooo pretty and super visable!!!

Angel Dust is a clear base with color shifting glitters:) This polish is super pretty and is perfect for spring! I think this would look even better over a dark color, but I do love it on its own!!!!

Amethyst is last in this collection and my least favorite:( This is a clear based polish with large lavender glitters.  This polish took a lot of dabbing and placing, I think the main reason for this issue is curling glitters. I know larger glitters have this issue sometimes. This polish is just not for me!

So some of this collection I Love and others are not for me! But I do like the direction Barielle is going in!!! All these polishes will be available on April 1st at www.barielle.com :)
