In the Spirit of Halloween... Candy Corn

So in the Spirit of Halloween I decided to join in on the fun:)  I have seen a ton of Candy Corn inspired manis and was inspired myself:)  I decided to mix it up a little and do a scalloped Candy Corn accent nail.
I used Sally Hansen Hard to Get (I really need to find a better white, this took 3 coats), I did the first scallop with Julep Daisy (a perfect bright yellow) and the second scallop with Wet n Wild MegaLast in Club Havana (a creamy pumpkin orange).  This is about the time I realized I started too far down the nail, and had way more orange than I wanted.  I had almost decided to do a regular frenchie on the other nails, but changed my mind and went with black.
I broke out Sinful Colors Black on Black and added the 3rd scallop and black tips. Even though this didn't turn out the way I had planned it, I think it is better:)
What do you think of my Candy Corn mani:) and what is a good white polish????

  1. This is awesome!!! How did you make the scallops, freehand or tape? OPI Alpine Snow is the best white I've found....

  2. I love that you did an accent nail with a scallop design and black tips! You get the Halloween feel, but it's very different from any other manis I've seen lately. This turned out really cute!

(How did you do the scalloped design, btw?)

  5. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On is a pretty good white. It's very opaque, almost a one coater.
