Bloody Nails:)

One Day Closer to Halloween:) I have had so much fun experimenting with Halloween mani's this year I almost can't wait till next year already.  I decided to do some bloody nails to keep with the spirit.
I wanted a bright/jellyish red and I didn't have one:(  but that didn't deter me.  So I mixed Julep Molly, a super bright creme red,  and Essie Skirting the Issue, a dark vampy jelly red and the mix gave me this:)
I created the drips with my large dotting tool moving from the drip to the tip of my nail, not completely mixing the two colors in order to give more depth to the effect. This is sooo cool to me:)
So what has been your favorite Halloween mani that you have seen so far???? Leave me links cause I wanna see too:)  Trick or Treat:)

Unusual Combo

TGIF!!!! This week have just been one disaster after another.  I really don't think I could take another day this week. On top of that I am getting ready to enter No Buy November, and with all the fabulous collections getting ready to come out for Christmas, it just makes me sad. Anyway on to the Polish:)
I got this gorgeous L'Oreal Precious Coral a few weeks ago, this coral is more of a standard coral as it has much more of a red/orange undertone vs the pink undertones we saw so much of this Spring and Summer. A Great choice for Fall:) For my accent I choose Essie Turquoise & Caicos:) This is one of my favorite polishes, the color is just so bright and creamy.   Then I added on a few leopard spots and a coat of HK Girl and tada:)
I am so in ♥ with the leopard accent nails.  I just think it is sooo fun!!!! I wanna try a Jelly leopard mani, Maybe I will work on that this weekend.  I'll let you know how it goes:) Have a Great Weekend and don't forget to pick up some Candy for Halloween:)

Naked!!!!

Welcome to Week 4 of Go Pink Wednesday:)
This post is gonna be super short as I have a mountain of homework ahead of me tonight:(  I Would rather be spending my time with you lovelies but alas my books are calling...
For this week's Go Pink I used China Glaze Naked!!!! Naked is a bright slightly shimmery bubblegum pink polish, I used three coats as the formula is kinda of watery... but it is a beautiful color:)  For my accent nail I used The Princess's Party Dress by I Feel Polished:) I won this beauty in her 300 followers giveaway:)
So I wear my pink and wear it proud!!!! Save the TA-TA'S

Juicy Polish:)

Ohhhh a Jelly Sandwich:) I did this mani a couple of weeks ago and I must say I just LOVE blue Jelly polish:)
I used 2 coats of China Glaze Ride the Waves, part of their Summer Neon collection for the base. Followed with 1 dabbing coat of windestine 80's deco, a coat of Ride the waves and SV:)How cute is this polish,  it is so fun and different:)

The thing I ♥ most about Jelly polishes is they are so juicy looking:) like the polish could just drip right off of your nails:)
Windestine is available HERE for $7 and China Glaze you can pick up at Sally's Beauty supply or Ulta for around $6:) So what polish finishes are your favorite???

Halloween Stampfest 2012

So yesterday I finally went and got Nein! Nein! Nein! OK Fine! from the OPI Germany Collection (about time I know)  I have been wanting this polish since it came out and well I can only say I am sorry I didn't get it sooner. I thought this will be the perfect backdrop to a Halloween stamp fest.
Nein! is the perfect dark creamy grey that leans ever so slightly green, and perfect formula that OPI nails every time (Pun intended) :) After 2 coats of Nein! I broke out Essie No Place like Chrome for the stampfest (I ♥ this Collection for stamping, perfect)
I grabbed my BM Set and used BM-213, BM-211, BM-209, BM-223, BM-222 and how cute is this. I am still not happy with the photos, It looks so much better in person. But I am super happy with the way the mani turned out:)
So what do you think???  What are you doing for your Halloween Mani??? and What is your favorite Polish from the Germany collection:)

In the Spirit of Halloween... Candy Corn

So in the Spirit of Halloween I decided to join in on the fun:)  I have seen a ton of Candy Corn inspired manis and was inspired myself:)  I decided to mix it up a little and do a scalloped Candy Corn accent nail.
I used Sally Hansen Hard to Get (I really need to find a better white, this took 3 coats), I did the first scallop with Julep Daisy (a perfect bright yellow) and the second scallop with Wet n Wild MegaLast in Club Havana (a creamy pumpkin orange).  This is about the time I realized I started too far down the nail, and had way more orange than I wanted.  I had almost decided to do a regular frenchie on the other nails, but changed my mind and went with black.
I broke out Sinful Colors Black on Black and added the 3rd scallop and black tips. Even though this didn't turn out the way I had planned it, I think it is better:)
What do you think of my Candy Corn mani:) and what is a good white polish????

Your Princess is in Another Castle

Another Go Pink Wednesday is upon us:) And today I have a wonderful Glitter Bomb by Vivid Lacquer called Your Princess is in Another Castle.  Now If you have ever played Mario you know where the name of this polish came from:) So cute right:)
Your Princess is in Another Castle is a  Light pink Glitter Bomb with a few black hexs thrown in for fun:) I used 2 coats of YPAC over 1 coat of China Glaze Naked a light shimmery pink:) Followed it all up with 2 coats of SV and BRAVA!!!
This polish is so not my normal style but some how I am completely drawn to it. My hubby says it is my racoon showing (the fact that I am completely distracted by shiny things:)
Sooo even though this polish is no longer available at the VIVID LACQUER ETSY STORE you should check it out anyway because there are soooo many other fantastic colors too.
and don't forget to Show the LOVE on FACEBOOK!!!!

Have a fantastic weekend:)

Ornate... Time to Shine:)

Oooooohhhhh I have so been waiting for this collection:) As soon as I heard that Zoya was putting this out I new it had to be mine:) I get to show you the Zoya Ornate Collection:)  I will let this collection Speak for itself!!!

First is Ziv:) She is a yellow-toned metallic gold foil with silver highlights and warm gold flake glitter accent.  I normally don't look that great in Gold but Ziv blew my socks off:) It is bright and shiny on the nail and even though it is yellow based it didn't wash me out:)

Next we have Logan,  he is a yellow-toned forest green with dense, foil-like yellow-gold and blue-green duo chrome shimmer! At first thought Logan was a Ray (Diva Collection) Look a like but they are worlds apart:)

Now let's take a look at Storm:) He is a black with a high concentration of micro fine diamond holographic glitter. And boy does he shine!!! This polish is sooo shiny I am completely distracted the shimmer. Just look at that Holo goodness:)

Blaze, Blaze, Blaze what can I say you had me at the first twinkle.   Blaze is a cool-toned medium mulberry red with a high concentration of micro fine diamond holographic glitter. This Polish is my Hubby's Favorite out of the bunch and I must say I can't totally see why:)
Aurora, you gorgeous, gorgeous purple you!!!! This is my absolute Fav out of the collection:) It's Obvious why to this medium sugarplum purple flecked with a high concentration of micro fine diamond holographic glitter stole my affections. She is everything you could want in a purple:)

Electra you hairy little minx you. You are gorgeous in the bottle, but most of your magic disappears once on my nails.  Now Electra is described as micro fine diamond holographic glitter mixed with large silver holographic bar tinsel in a clear base, but I didn't see any anything but the tinsel bar glitter.  This is not my fav but I haven't given up yet either.

Now are you as impressed with this collection as I am????  All the these were opaque in 2 coats and a great formula that I have come to expect form Zoya:)  I only wish this had a navy blue sparkly Polish:) Who knows maybe next year:) Now you can get you own ORNATE Collection for $48 and be prepared to sparkle all season long:)

I'm not a Black Widow....

I'm not a black Widow... In fact Spiders scare the crap outta me... Which brings me to the newest polish by Vivid Lacquer's Black Widow. Although I don't like spiders I do love this polish. Black Widow is a clear base full of black glitter in tiny bars, hexes, and diamonds. Sparse red glitter rounds off the mix.
Now I put this lovely glitter over a standard french mani and WOW!!!  This is an aptly named polish and simply beautiful.
The simplicity of this polish is the reason I like it so much. It is a sparse polish but you don't have to dig and it has bar glitter but doesn't look hairy.  Perfect mixture and it dries in a flash:)
So what do you think of Black widow??? Check out the VIVID LACQUER ETSY STORE and you can have you very own Black Widow for only $9 for a full size and check out all the other fantastic colors too.
and don't forget to Show Anni some LOVE on FACEBOOK!!!!
I hope you have a fantastic Monday!!!

If I Were a Zombie

If I were a Zombie... well that would be kinda gross right:) And I wouldn't be able to concentrate on all the gorgeous Halloween polishes I have seen recently.   Well If I were a Zombie I would definitely wear this polish:)
This beauty is by Vivid Lacquer and you guessed it it is named "If I were a Zombie".  Anni describes this as an "off-white jelly base with a slightly green tinge, filled with black and red glitter in both shreds and hexes. Green microglitter rounds out the finish.)
I thought though as a true Zombie it probably shouldn't be shiny so I mattified it and it made such a difference:)  I like the matted version a LOT!!!!
This is such a different take on Zombie polish, it doesn't look gross or have that kind of puke green look to it but is tinted enough so that it doesn't look natural:)  I used three coats of If I were a Zombie followed by gelous and SV, and then I added butter London Matte Finish:)
So I am completely and totally impressed by Anni at Vivid, shreds in polish are usually my Nemesis but these actually laid down like the were supposed to, quick drying time and a great formula:)
You wanna look like a Zombie now too right:) well now you can just shoot over to the VIVID LACQUER ETSY STORE and you can have you very own If I Were a Zombie for only $9 for a full size and check out all the othe fantastic colors too.
and don't forget to Show the LOVE on FACEBOOK!!!!
  Have a fantastic weekend:)
