Blue Roses

Hey Dolls!!! Oh boy do I have a fun mani for you today!!!! I have been wanting to try some nail art roses for a while, so I decided to give it a shot:) I used Purity and Mallory by Zoya for this mani.  On my Accent nail I started off with a base of Purity and then took my large dotting tool and made some scalloped edged circles in Mallory. I then went back with a small paintbrush in a semi random pattern with Purity and detailed the petals. LOVE, but still felt like something was missing so I added in some random dots:) but I couldn't stop there so I did contrast dots on my other nails and DONE!!!

Hope you like this as much as I do, and way easier than I first thought:) Loves!!!

Formula X VoxBox

So a couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to get the Formula X VoxBox, complimentary from Influenster:) Now this awesome box came with a polish remover jar, a nail cleaner coat, a primer coat, the TGIF color, and a high shine topcoat:)  I am always excited to try new nail products but I am a bit weary at the same time mostly because I feel like they will never live up to the hype...

So the first product I used was the Delete All 5 finger remover. This is the product that I was the least excited about as almost every remover of this type that I have ever tried had the nasty habit of either smearing a film of polish all over my fingers or drying them out horribly.  I was blown away with the awesomeness of this stuff!!! (I have already bought a back up) It doesn't smell horrible, works super quick removing all polish with no film, and surprisingly moisturized my nails and cuticles!!! As good as this stuff was I was now excited to try the rest:)

Next was the Cleanse Xcel, a super thin quick drying cleaner. This stuff basically strips the oils off of your nails for a longer lasting mani. Smells like basic rubbing alcohol in the bottle but once it dries a slightly floral scent.

Prime Xcel is a purple tinted (super light tint) base coat that dries super quick and has a slightly sticky finish.

Next is the Formula X Color in TGIF. A bright pink/coral creme that is almost neon but not quite:) A perfect summer pink or any time of year for that matter:) Here is 2 easy coats!

Finally the last step is Shine Xcel. This at first glance is your basic run of the mill top coat. It has the same thickness, dry time and shine. However the shine doesn't disappear it truly does last!!!

So I wore this mani for eight days... I had no chipping and only a few little scratches when I took this off. All in all I am super impressed with this system!!!! I definitely will be getting a lot of use out of this system!!! This system is exclusive to Sephora.com and retails for $34 and the Delete All is $15:)

Pink with Shell Stamping:)

So today I have a mani that I did a couple of months ago:) I totally meant to post this after I did it but I forgot!!! Like forgot that I even did the mani at all!!! But I ran across the pics this morning and well here you go:)  So for the base I used China Glaze I'll Pink to That, a bright bubblegum pink! I stamped on a shell design from Plate JQ-L20 from LadyQueen in Black.  I love the designs on this plate however I could not get 90% of them to pick up... I have approx 10 plates from this company and all of them have the same pickup ratio... I've tried different stamping polish and different stampers; same results:) I added a simple silver stud to the tips and followed it all up with a coat of SV.

I like this mani but I struggled with the stamping, I really love the designs but don't think I will ever be able to use them because they don't pick up:( Do you know anyway to try and salvage stamping plates that don't pick up, let me know!!!

Neon Corner Nails

Hey Dolls:) I have a fun mani that I sported over the weekend that I wanna share with you today:) I did a white creme base and then flicked a random line of China Glaze What I Like About Blue, That's Shore Bright, Pink Voltage, and Home Sweet House Music in the bottom corner:) I top it off with a partial nail stamping using Ejiubas Wonders of Life plate and Konad Black :) Followed it up with a quick coat of Seche Vite!

Super Easy and quick!!! I love manis like this because the are really hard to screw up (which I do often) :) Have a great weekend!!!
