I Want it NOW!!

And It is Friday AGAIN!!!! So another simple mani for you today:) The base is SC black on black with random triangles taped off and Smitten polish I Want It Now over:) This particular polish I got several years ago (pretty sure it is not available at this time) in a grab bag and just never used it, but couldn't seem to part with it either it was just tooo pretty!!! Well I decided today is the day, and I couldn't be happier!!! I Want It Now is a dark green tinted base with green, teal and a few black glitters:) And It is not a topcoat eater like I would have thought:)

Check out those Macros!!!! Such a pretty color!!!!  Have a great weekend!!!

Poppy Accent Nail

Hey Dolls:) I'm back from an impromptu Vaca!!!! Got the opportunity to visit DC last week and jumped on it!!! I Love DC!!! I'm am not a "city girl" by nature but DC is beautiful, the architecture and the history are fantastic!!!!

(the hubby and me @ the Lincoln Memorial)

And all of my nails made it back in one piece!!!! I know I can't be the only one but whenever I head out of town my nails decide break:( Anyways... on to today's mani!!! For this mani I used Zoya Maura as the red, and accent nail of white with some free handed poppies. I diluted Maura with a little bit of acetone to get the watercolor effect, added the stems and details with black and followed it all up with a coat of SV!!!

The only thing different I would do is really pay attention to where I put the poppies, cause I wish they were more centered... my OCD is kicking in:) Have a great weekend!!!

Navy and Rose Gold:)

So I was looking at some nautical inspired manis on Pinterest this am and noticed lots of navy white and gold:) So I figured I would do a nautical mani but then I saw China Glaze's Meet Me at the Mirage, a gorgeous Rose Gold sitting on my mani table and I couldn't resist!!! So instead of nautical I went with chevrons:) Chevrons are done with a Kiss stencil, and freehand lining:)  Now the Navy I used is Zoya Ryan, I am not happy with this selection.... I think this is a bit too dark for the look I had in mind, I think Zoya Sailor would have been a better choice:( Just a little too much contrast!

What do you think too much contrast??? or just right???

Blue and Green Fun

Hey Dolls:) Don't you just LOVE summertime!!! One of my favorite things about summer are the colors!!!! Everything is so bright and colorful, one of the saddest things about winter is everything is brown :(  I am a sucker for blues and greens so I grabbed 2 of my favs and threw this mani together!!! The colors I used are Barry M Greenberry, Sinful Shine Most Sinful and Sinful Color White on White.  I did some quick dots and added a gradient for fun:)

I Love the look of this mani, But I did figure out that Sinful Shine Most Sinful is a pain to gradient:( No matter how many times I tried I couldn't get the fade smooth or completely covered:( But it still turned out good!!!

Red-y to Rave!!!

A few months ago China Glaze came out with the Electric Nights Collection, and I just knew I had to have them!!!! One of the first colors in this collection that caught my eye was Red-y to Rave:) This is a super bright Red/Orange neon that does not play well with my camera at all (like most neons)!!! I used China Glaze Liquid Leather as an accent for this mani:) I love the contrast between the two colors!!!!

Love, Love, Love this mani!!! Neon and black is always a good color combo no matter the design!!! and China Glaze has done a fantastic job with this collection of Neons!!!!
