PINK Voltage

I LOVE THIS COLOR!!! Can you tell? It just makes me smile everytime I look down:) This is China Glaze "Pink Voltage" the silver is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Celeb City"!!! The design in the top pic is done with striping tape and the bottom is done with a dotting tool!!! This color is sooo beautiful,  I really wasn't sure about it at the store but after a swatching I was hooked!!! WARNING this is a NEON and is super bright, so not for the faint of heart:) but you ladies can handle it right:)

On a DiFfEReNt Level

This mani took a great deal of time... but that was probably because it was one of my first;) the base is China Glaze "For Audrey" my fav Tiffany & Co. Blue/Turquoise!!! The tips are Sinful Colors "Black on Black" with the dots and line done in Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "White On".  I got so many compliments on this mani I will have to do it again:)

Flip Flop Fantasy:)

This mani was done with China Glaze "Flip Flop Fantasy" a rather remarkable pink/coral/orange NEON that does not photograph well at all:( I tried to take pics of this beautiful polish so many different ways and it just would not cooperate!!!! Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Celeb City" is the beautiful silver used here:) with a few accent dots:) I LOVE this COLOR and I am so sad that I could not get a pic that could capture its true beauty!!!! A great spring color!!!!!

Quilted nails, Oh my...

This was a last minute mani and I really couldn't decide what I wanted to do... But I love the way it turned out, even though it won't last long (they never do). The base is China Glaze "Turned up Turquoise", I love this color technically it is classified as a neon but I don't really see it as neon;  it does have the same semi matte finish though. The Stamping plate I used for the quilted design is CH11 by Cheeky and I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Golden-I" this is my all time favorite Gold!!! I really like the flash of gold when I move my hands:) All followed up with a quick coat of SV and Ta-Da!!!!

Neutral Dots

This was my Mani over the weekend:) I really liked the way it turned out just not super excited about the colors I think I would like it better in NEON:)  So for the Colors I used Essie "Sand Tropez" for the Base and  Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear " White On, Golden-I, & Celeb City" and Sinful Colors "Black on Black" for the dots:) All followed with a coat of SV.  Hope you guys are having a great Memorial Day weekend!!!!

STOP... HOLO TIME!!!!

So holo's are all the rage right now, but they cost a pretty penny. I wasn't even sure I was gonna like one, so I hunted for one that didn't cost over $10 a bottle and this is what I found:) This little beauty is Color Club "Worth the Risque" and I got it on Amazon for $3 + $3 in Shipping:) I LOVE IT!!!! It is not a definitive as some of the other holo's out there but still really pretty:)

Inside with flash
Outside Sunny
Swatches inside with flash

I will definitely using this beauty alot:) the darker holo in the swatch pic is also by Color Club called "Revvolution", just as beautiful:) Oh, the other great thing about these polishes, is they are a 1 coat wonder:) very rare with holos from my understanding!!!!

Black and White Stamping

This was  a very graphic mani, almost too busy. I love black and white nails but not with such a bold pattern... The White is Sinful Colors "Snow Me White" and the black is Konad special polish in "Black" followed by SV. The plate I used is BM-205.

I still have several mani's to post:) and as always If you wanna see something or wanna know how I do something just leave me a comment:) Have a Pinked Polish Day:)

Green Alligator

This mani had a super cool effect, it looked like green alligator skin:) For this I used Sinful Colors "Rise and Shine" and for the stamp I used Klean Color "Metallic Aqua", followed by a coat of SV. The stamp I used is BM-224. Stamping (Konad) has become one of my favorite types of mani's!!!! I think it's because the possibilities are endless!!!!

Gray Glitter

A Pinterest inspired mani:) who would have thought:) for This mani I used Maybelline Express Finish " Grey-T Glamour" and for the Glitter I used Milani Jewel FX "Gems" followed by a coat of SV.  I really liked the concept of this mani but i think next time I will do different colors.
FYI: Heavy Glitters like this tend to peel easily so add a top coat every other day to help keep everything set.:)

Pink and White polka dots

These two mani's were done with the same colors and before I got my dotting tool:) If you done have one, get one ASAP, you can find them pretty cheap on amazon.com!!!  If you don't have one, you can use the end of a paper clip to dot, it is not the most consistent method but it does work.

Now for the Colors I used Sinful Colors "Boom, Boom" and Sinful Colors "Snow Me White" followed by a coat of SV.  I really love Sinful Colors b/c most of the time you can find then at Walgreens on sale of 99 cents a bottle:) Talk about a good deal:)

Water Marbling attempt #1

My first attempt at water marbling... This is so not as easy as it looks!!! Now don't get me wrong the actual application is easy, but it is time CONSUMING!!! The trick is to use a base color, because you can't really do two coats of color. I know that a lot of people suggest using oil or Vaseline  to cover you finger during the process but I prefer tape, and yes I tried it all 3 ways:)  But the good thing is once your nails come out of the water they are dry and all they need is a top coat and you are done!

Peacock:)

Now talk about inspired:) This mani was inspired by Katy @ nailedit you can find her here!!! She has some fabulous work!!!! The base for this was white followed with a quick coat of Revlon "Runway Pearl" which is an iridescent white/ivory that is beautiful. The Green is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear " Green with Envy". Turquoise is China Glaze "Turned Up Turquoise" (Neon), I don't see this as a neon but it is bright. Purple is Sinful Colors "Let's Talk" and a few silver squiggles. I loved this mani and will probably have to try it again in the future:)

White stripes

I absolutely loved this mani!!!! I used Sally Hansen Extreme Wear "White On" and teal metallic striping tape found here, followed with a coat of SV. This was a super easy mani; however, not one of the longest lasting ones I have done:)

My Very First Post:)

Oooooh My very first Blog Post!!!! Welcomed to Pinked Polish!!!! I am super excited about this as I get soooo many ideas from other bloggers that I thought I would share my inspiration with others!!!! Here is a pic of my current Mani:) Don't you LOVE it!!!!

The base is China Glaze "For Audrey" a spot on Tiffany & Co. blue and the DOTS are Maybelline Express Finish "Gray-T Glamour" a dark gray with a slight shimmer followed by a top coat of Seche Vita or SV as I like to call it.

I will be adding more pics and stuff over the next few days and if there is anything you guys wanna see let me know:)
